Professionals in India
Your client pays for you. How much of it reaches you?
Between a foreign client and an Indian professional there is usually an intermediary, and a margin. Bridge91 is the same bridge, built differently: you keep the relationship, your client keeps you, and what sits in the middle is a stated fee rather than a spread.
Confidential from the first message. Nothing reaches your client, your vendor or anyone else without your agreement.
The middle keeps a share you are not shown.
Same client. Same work. A different middle.
Two ways the same monthly payment can reach you. The figures are illustrative; the shape is the point.
- What your client pays each month
- ₹3,00,000
- Retained in the middle
- A markup, often undisclosed
- Statutory and employment cost
- Deducted from the balance
Available for your package ₹1,40,000
- What your client pays each month
- ₹3,00,000
- Retained in the middle A stated service fee
- ₹15,000
- Statutory and employment cost Paid at actuals, itemised
- ₹12,000
Available for your package ₹2,73,000
We take a stated fee for the work we actually do: employment, payroll, compliance. Not a spread on your value.
Markups in this market are rarely disclosed and vary enormously. In our own experience advising on cross-border engagements, we have seen the gap between what a client pays and what reaches the professional run to several multiples. Whatever the number is in your case, you are entitled to know it.
What changes, and what does not.
You do the same work for the same people. Bridge91 becomes your employer in India: your payroll, your provident fund, your insurance, your compliance. Your client deals with one Indian partner instead of another.

Onboarding is measured in hours, not weeks. You keep working throughout.
Your client benefits too. Send them this.
Your client gets full visibility of what they are paying for, one monthly invoice at actuals with a stated fee, complete statutory compliance in India, and a partner who can take them further: into their own India entity and a full capability centre when they are ready.

Hi [name], I came across Bridge91, an employer of record in India that bills at actuals with a stated fee and runs payroll and compliance end to end. It may be worth comparing with our current arrangement. Their one-page summary is here: bridge91.com/bridge91-one-page-summary.pdf. Would you be open to a short call with them?

Questions people actually ask.
Ordered by what worries people most.
Is this legal?
Employer of record is a well-established model used by companies worldwide. What matters in any one case is your existing contractual position, which is exactly what we go through with you before anything else happens.
Is my conversation confidential?
Yes. Nothing is shared with your client or anyone else without your agreement.
Will I lose my client?
Your client chooses their India partner. Our job is to give them a better option and let them decide. Many of these conversations begin because the client is already unhappy with what they are paying.
What about my notice period?
It is real and it has to be honoured. We will look at it with you and plan around it.
What does my client have to do?
Sign an agreement with Bridge91 and pay one monthly invoice. We handle everything in India.
What does Bridge91 charge?
A stated fee for employment and compliance services. We tell you and your client exactly what it is, before anything is agreed.
A conversation costs you nothing. Not having it might.
Confidential, no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if the model does not suit your situation.
Use your personal email or number. We never contact your client or your current employer without your agreement.
